Natalie Portman Denies Being Wanted for Superman and Batman Movies

Natalie Portman has blasted reports she is set to appear in the next installments of the "Superman" and "Batman" movie franchises. The actress was rumored to have landed a part in Zack Snyder's upcoming film "The Man of Steel", but Portman insists she's not even been approached for the project.

She tells Entertainment Weekly, "What is that? No, I haven't heard anything." And when Portman was questioned about a reported role in Christopher Nolan's next Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises", she responded, "Oh, I don't know anything about that."

Pregnant Natalie Portman has been hailed for her performance in "Black Swan" which could land her an Oscar nod. She will appear in a number of films in 2011, including "No Strings Attached", "The Other Woman" and "Thor". 



New Behind the Scenes Video of 'Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides'


A new behind the scenes look at "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" has made its way out via Disney's Movie Surfers and now the video has hit the web. Featuring several scenes from the film as well as the making process, the snippet also includes an interview with Johnny Depp who says he enjoys filming every scene in the movie.

This fourth "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie will present a standalone story of Depp's Jack Sparrow who will cross paths with a woman from his past, Angelica, but he's not sure if it's love - or if she's a ruthless con artist who's using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. Still, the two along with Sparrow's nemesis Blackbeard aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge on a journey to find the fabled Fountain of Youth together.

Penelope Cruz and Ian McShane joins the cast to portray Angelica and Blackbeard respectively. Jerry Bruckheimer still serves as a producer while Rob Marshall takes the helming duty. This upcoming action comedy movie will hit 3-D theaters on May 20, 2011 in the U.S.
